I know these companies have long since ceased to exist but can anyone shed any light on Gordon Tullett Transport (I think they were based in Suffolk and did a lot of work for Coca Cola), Swindells Transport who had a depot in Burtonwood and could be seen from the M62 and a company called RoTaspedition. They were owned by a man called Roger Taylor (hence RoTa), were based in what is now the GKN depot on the A127 at Warley, operated Fiat units and all their work was to Italy. Their depot at Warley was where P & O Coastal Roadways had a depot after moving from a site behind the Orsett ■■■■ on the old A13. I’d be interested to know if anyone knows anything of these companies.
