Colouring books and crayons!

as some of you know i am on the operators panel for commercial motor, last weeks issue concerned the digital tachograph.
i was very surprised to find that Pat Hagan actually inserted my final closing statement that i made regarding this topic.
so here for you all to see is that final statement copied from c/m.

“i would like to suggest the money raised from the sale of smart cards goes towards buying colouring books and crayons for the Members of the European Parliament that have nothing better to do than meddle in things they have very little knowledg or understanding of.”

thanks Pat Hagan, i will treasure that press clipping and one day i hope to present the colouring books and crayons myself.

PMSL, great comment Johnny, and nice to see CM included it.

Hanging on to my chair PMSL also

a BIG WELL DONE Johnny

Nice statement,

If you do, please ensure each crayon is clearly marked with the colour it will produce so there can be no confusion of black white or grey :stuck_out_tongue:

and dont forget to hand them a health and safety statement saying

safety glasses must be worn in case of fragmenting crayon tips

safety gloves must be worn as the paper edges are awfully sharp and paper cuts really really sting

safety boots to be worn at all times as the colouring book is quite heavy and would smart if it landed corner first on your big toe

hi viz vests must be worn because…errr …ummm…well coz i like the colour alright!!!
