Colletts of Halifax......Wind Turbine Delivery Pictures

Been a couple of years since this thread was started so thought i would bump it up for anyone who may have missed it :smiley:

theres another farm going up accrington way the access is gonna be interesting to say the least :open_mouth:

They did away with some of the traffic islands on the route from m65 to that new wind farm above accruing ton last weekend. I presume arrival may be imminent. Anyone in the know?

Amazing photos, and details, thanks very much for posting, the best post with photos ive seen this year (i know its an old post, but its the 1st time ive read it). i would love to do a few windmill blades myself. Thanks again MML, brilliant. :grimacing:

not sure tbh i was up there last week picking stuff up i didn’t get as far as the bases they was stoning out like madmen though cnt see it being to long

I know it’s a old topic was after a some wind turbine pics was wondering bits a bobs how many towers ect ect

I was watching 1of the discovery channels today and colletts were on there for wind farms, didn’t hear where Abouts they were tho

Brilliant thread, many thanks for posting (and taking the time to photograph the action).

During 2008 i documented the construction of Scout Moor Wind Farm to the north of Manchester.
As an added bonus this resulted in being able to get some pictures of Colletts of Halifax who delivered a total of 26 wind turbines to the site throughout 2008.
