How do we all feel about having to hook up with trailers parked so closely that you have to crouch under the trailer next door to operate the hooking up procedure; checking trailer brake, checking trailer for faults, operating landing gear etc?

just use common sense and back under lift urself up and stick ur red line on pull it out so u can reach the rest,daily procedure at john raymonds…
Or back under the trailer then raise it then press the shunt button then once out of the hole connect as normal.

unless trailer is dropped to high then you shouldnt have to climb under it. Raise it up and drag it out
“Nightfreight” depots and hub springs to mind, total nightmare. But as has been said above, lift axle, shunt button on and pull forward.
Mammoet at Preston Brook, you’d be lucky to get your digi card in between them trailers…
and they expect you to put one back , in the dark, yeh, right,
that dear shunter is why you will find it dropped in the middle of your yard, goodnight.
The most important bit of kit at Brindley’s was a tin opener !!!
