Stopped here last week for the first time this year and they’ve put the price up to £17.50 you get a meal thrown in and access to a free shower. The ground is a bit dirty when wet but the cafe,showers and toilets were very clean. If I’ve got time I’ll be back there later.

From the photos of clean facilities and half decent grub I wouldn’t mind parking there. Bet you got some funny looks though taking photograghs in the toilets.
Was only me in there lol,no timer on showers either which is a bonus,there’s only 2 tho,some drivers may like to share i suppose.
LOL every time I have been in there its clean but basic - and the food is OK, but not giving Gordon Ramsey any sleepness nights
I have heard rumours that Les Woolstons next door does contract parking for companies which works out cheaper and a 100 yards or so to walk into the Truckstop- maybe a cheaper option for your boss 
And its true I don’t live to far away, and in the village where I live there is a reasonably secure ■■■■■■■■■■■■ (As secure as your going to get on Teesside 
) available for overnighting drivers - by drivers that the farmer has met or been introduced to, on private land owned by a farmer, but only a select few know where it is, or have permission to use it, and then they can get the dubious pleasure of my company , a few beers in the club and a Fray Bentos pie ( about the limit of my culinary skills).
Over the years I have met up with quite a few members here who were heading for Teesside, and looking to park and given them directions to the decent out of town layby’s near me, somewhere wiith a social club and a couple pubs within a few minutes walking time and the takeaways deliver. One member is now up around here so much he is becoming a member of the club so I don’t have to drag my sorry arse outta the house to sign in him ( probably will still go up for a couple beers tho ).
If you are heading for Teesside and don’t fancy the ladies knocking on your door all night at Canon park , and don’t wont to pay for the truckstop, then the road between Middlesbrough and Redcar at the end of the A174 Parkway has a couple big layby’s with easy dual carriageway access back into Boro, or Lackenby and Wilton works If your heading Thornaby Stockton way a few lads seem to park up behind the shops on Teesside retail park, which has a pub next door to the casino, Mcdonalds,. Pizza hut, Frankie and Bennies KFC and a few more and a few minutes walk… I have heard they are going to stop overnighter there tho, so be careful

Oh god no… too near Grangetown , if you that far into town go park down by the Navigation pub , you may still lose your diesel and load but at least have a decent pint

you will only lose your load if you park at cannon park, it will cost you £20 for the privilege though

I have given enough hints in this thread - and suggested that folks PM me for the safer areas- I don’t want to post directly where are is a bit better to park (nowhere is 100% safe) as scrotes can google too

Yes that’s Cleverland truckstop. If im there it’s usually because im loading on Wilton in the morning but the laybys en route are always full. Id much rather park somewhere safe and get a good nights sleep.
