I`m considering applying for a class1 HGV license, but as i have some previous convictions on my record. Is being CRB checked a requirement on gaining employment with a company like DHL?
Any feed back on this is appreciated, ty.

Depends on the job/contract, most employers don’t require a CRB check.
I’ve only ever had one CRB check done with a company, and then I was delivering/collecting computer parts/accessories.
Also if they do require a CRB it usually depends on what type of conviction. e.g things like being convicted of fraud or something similar I doubt they would like. But again its all at the company’s discretion.

Depending on your convictions, you may be called in to see the traffic commissioner before they give you a provisional licence, or have you already got a full class 2 licence?
All companies have different policies.
