Can a company that have a fleet of transit vans hire a class c for a day if they don’t have an operators licence

No you can’t ! to hire and use any truck 3.6t and above for hire an reward you need O licence and most hire firms if not all will not hire any thing above 7’5t without proof of O licence
And don’t forget bout tachos as well

Talk to your local transport firms as they may hire one and driver for the day or advertise on here as there may be an owner driver who could do it
P/s it will be hard getting a 18t now as its leading up to Christmas
