Hi all so Ave got my class 2 training course booked for the end of the month has anyone got any advice or things to watch out for would be great
The thing that comes to mind is don’t get disheartened if your first day goes crap.
You might hit every kerb and think you’re rubbish and feel like you can’t do it but a lot of people feel that way. Towards the end of the training is when it all comes together for a lot of people. Don’t beat yourself up for making mistakes.
Take bends wide… Wider than you think… No, even wider than that…
The L plates entitle you to go as slow as you like, rush nothing.
Listen to the instructor, sometimes they sound as if they can be a pain in the arse. But they know best as it’s their job and they just want to see you pass. I passed my class 2 a couple of weeks ago and the first day I had my instructor I thought it was going to be murder. But on day 2 it was great and by then I was more at ease and things just fell into place. Good luck with it all mate

Read the tips on this very website - It’s where my “training” began before setting a wheel in motion
Check both mirrors every 5-10 seconds when moving along and listen to your instructor. They will be an invaluable source of info.
Good luck.
