Class 1 theory test

Hi all I currently have a class 2 license was thinking about getting a class 1 as well is there a separate hazard perception and theory test to pass to obtain this licence.

yes… forget the pass mark but the theory is fairly straight foward. From memory the majority is the same as you did for class 2 with a few questions about airlines etc thrown in which is easy to learn parot fashtion. If you have been doing class 2 for a while you may struggle with the hazzard stuff unless it has changed because it was the same standered as a learner car driver. Ut kept accusing me of cheating or scoring zero for a clip because i would see lots of potential hazards or see and click on them before it had started scoring me.

hope this helps

Edit to add i was talking cobblers sorry for the missinformation

I didn’t have to do another theory test between my class 2 and class 1 tests…

Your right im tallking rubbish no theory or hazzard

Only one set of theory tests for LGV - that is for all the categories
You will be asked a few questions - thats it

You now do the reversing and un/couple as a separate test 3A and that must be passed before you do the practical road drive test 3B
An instructor - not the one who trains you - will conduct the 3A test
An examiner will conduct the on road test

Soon, they will be giving them out with 4 packet tops from Kelloggs, like they did with the car test
