Perhaps some of these rigid drivers who hold a class one licence can explain to me that why when I’m somewhere tipping 26 pallets you ask if u can tip your 1pallet in front of me?
If I was to let everyone round me who only had one or two I’d still be at my first ever drop! Ok so you have multi drop to do, stop rushing around and carving the job up then coming on here moaning about the rubbish money u earn or class one drivers getting in your way!
Oh and while all u class 2’s are having your annual conference perhaps you would like to mention that its courtesy to thank a driver with your indicators when he’s flashed u in on a DC or MW!

I’m only class 2 at mo, and don’t try to push in. And I thank any driver that flashes me in or out.
Perhaps I should read rest of threads before posting. I’m on the road to getting my class1, so where do I stand all this?

You are quite correct midlife trucker there is ,class one ive been there got the t shirt and have seen the light ,my 13metre sptinter and trailer suits me fine,when i parked at places i get class one drivers telling me iam ok with this with no tacho ,well i have and an olicence,do i go very far? no not that far nearly istanbull, sweden ,italy ,ect, can you back it ?comments like can you drive this on a car licence and so on,some are genuinly interested but most just try to take the ■■■■ as in iam a big trucker your not,most times i let them think what they like,most class 1drivers dont realise i am towing and cant use the outside lane so when iam overtaking normaly on cruise at about 59 ish i get artics swerving out and back again as they have run up the arse of an other and expect me to imediatly move over up on there indicator coming on.with out saying too much less is certainly more!

It’s simple,atm your at noob status,when you pass your class 1 you’ll be classed as one of the elite,and can join the fun in looking down on the little lorries.

What a load of nonsense. Have you been inhaling the fumes from your big van or something? How many class 1 tests did you fail before you “lost interest in the artic side” and decided to just settle for half a licence?

I try to be as courteous as possible to class 1 drivers, as at the ring of the day there in a much bigger vehicle than me…however it does annoy me when I’m overtaking in my skip lorry and they give one quick flash to let me in, I haven’t quite mastered looking in the mirror for a flash without swerving all over the road yet lol
