Chipping a Magnum

Hi,
Has anyone got any advice on chipping a Magnum with Mack 440, and ZF gearbox. What are the HP limits this can be chipped, and can an improvement in fuel consumption be achieved? Anything else to watch out for regarding engine temperature, maintenance etc?

Thanks in advance.

How old is it?

Its early 2004.

iirc if its Macks own engine E7…460-up to—485HP, 435 up to 460ish …they were up powered by Mack using the power + program on the ECU to explain this is in Canada.(12 speed mack box,or 13speed fuller).
the company i work for is 100% Mack…
we usually ajust the settings for the engine fan (for it to come on earlier).
fuel wise ,in my opinion uses a little more BUT trip times are better.
no problems service wise.
sorry cant help much more jimmy.
just a thought it might be a E9 440 well that can be up to 480.

Thanks Jimmy,

Yes its an E7 (or E-Tech) 440, straight 6 with unitary injectors.
