Bought a poppy for my son as his school are doing a remembrance assembly this week, but that’s as far as I go, I don’t like these vehicle poppies I see them as a red nose. Service areas trying to blackmail you into donating just receives a generous trucker style grunt. CIN or Comic Relief collections that cause traffic congestion is not on and I will ignore anyone trying to converse with me. Let’s face it, these people wanting our cash are the same who close laybys and have weight limits put in place.
