It’s not a theory! If you left it to the mods to police the site it may just have died down, if you didn’t react to the comments they would go away as soon as they knew they weren’t getting to you, but you reacted and on and on it went, now faced with a similar situation, I’d probably do the same as you, so don’t take my thoughts as more abuse, you may not like what I’m saying, but as an observer I can see from the outside in, so I’m just saying it as I see it

Please note I have no idea what i am agreeing to as I have read next to nothing in the thread, I did notice the bit about it just being an internet forum and not that important in the scheme of things and that i can agree with.

That doesn’t make sense. If you’re agreeing with everything that is being agreed to then by no longer agreeing to agree and agreeing to disagree with someone else that is agreeing to disagree you are no longer agreeing with everything that is being agreed to.
I would also like to add my ‘agreeance’ to this thread although I too agree with Neil in that I’m not sure what it is that I’m agreeing with yet.

Trikki is gonna flip when he sees the middle part of this page. In fact this ex-pat arguing has become so bad that I can see him dishing out some official warnings and threats of permanent bans. Oh wait.

Oh I don’t know, it may have been a topic that is not ‘popular’ but everyone was playing nicely, this is a feedback forum, so we can discuss matters related to the forums, this situation clearly will continue to simmer away, sure the mods could ban people or impose sanctions in an attempt to restore equilibrium, but if we can resolve it amongst ourselves then that would be better for all concerned
For all my finger pointing towards Brentanna as the cause of all this, I completely understand why they went off alarming, nobody else has to put up with personal abuse, but fighting back is the cause of the chaos and mayhem, that’s the point I’m getting at, hopefully it sinks in that it’s not working and we can all get back to debating issues again, Brentanna included.
If my methods warrant sanctions, well I won’t be happy, but I accepted the rules when I joined

I would like to just add that if a minority of posters (not necessarily just one) seem to be involved in the majority of problems, perhaps it’s time to take a closer look at that minority - as opposed to just screaming at EVERYONE involved. Just my feedback…
