As well Q.C denotes Queens Counsel , not a barrister , althought barristers most often meet the requirements of the position.

I guess Rikki and the mods are being very selective, I didnt post that Mike did we do however share the same home. 
I would never refer to someone like that as Mr. I have other terms I would use. It did however achieve what it was meant to that was getting him to reply.

I am now more than bored of this too…Steps were taken to “clean” the ex pats forum of bickering and snide remarks, It seems that some want to continue it in this forum. Those comments have not been allowed to be published
Guess what, the “Stasi” as some like to call us will not allow this to escalate again or overflow into the rest of this site. We have tried backing off the moderation as requested in the past, but it does seem that we give an inch and some folks want to grab a mile. So as far as this particular issue goes - welcome to the moderation standards of 2008.
Either shut up the snide comments and barely disguised digs or your account ( and any other account we think is related to the user) will go to read only. Dont like our rules, then dont use this website, no-one is forcing you too. ( for those who like to ensure we follow our sanction guidelines this is a red card)
There is no right to use this forum, it is a privelage extended by the forum owners and we can and will withdraw it from any user at any time for any reason we feel fit.
If anyone wants to continue being an arse, go do it on another website because it no longer happens on here.

So far, as I see it one person is responsible for almost destroying the expat forum
A few members have been a little ‘vocal’ in their responses to this individual, for this they’ve been subject to sanctions from the mods, that’s fine and how it should be, my personal feelings are that sanctions were a little excessive in some cases, but I don’t make the rules, I’m also not aware of a lot of the deleted posts, so maybe they were deserved.
In any case, you’d have to be reading this in Braille not to see that they were baited to illicit their responses, on another site things may have been a little ‘nicer’ but we’re hairy arsed lorry drivers and whether you like it or not, political correctness is not a strong point in many of us 
You say that you’re sick to death of it, well welcome to our world, we used to have a good forum, sure there was a bit of ■■■■ taking and the odd flare up, but recently it’s all gone mad, it all seems to revolve around one person who takes playing the victim to a whole new level, the same person who, despite many attempts to get over it, both by you lot and a couple of members, seems intent on causing trouble
But the worst part of it all for me is the blatant hypocracy, it seems that we all have to mind our P’s & Q’s around this member, yet they can rip the ■■■■ out of Carryfast and that’s ok, it is in a way, he just takes it on the chin, but if it’s good for the goose…

Everyone who has there postings rights and access curtailed have had it done because of their own actions, not because of what some one else has done. Part of being an adult is taking responsibility for your own actions, In this case we gave many warnings, begged, pleaded, and even gave all a second chance to use this site as it was intended. Some have chosen to ignore everything we have tried to do and believe they have some sort of right to use this site in any way they wish.
Well to burst their bubble they dont. Those concerned have only themselves to blame, they made thier choice, and now have to understand that we have had enough and they will have to use this forum under certain restrictions.
Trying to blame this on one or two people shows that some do not have the concept of why they have been sanctioned. not because of anyone else but for their own actions.
If your use of this forum is now restricted and you need someone to blame for it, my best suggestion is to look in the mirror as the cause of the restrictions will be the person looking back at you.
As for your point about carryfast, as far as I know no distress has been caused to that member via these forums and all has been said and taken in a good hearted nature - if I am wrong on that then any member can report a post or e-mail one of the team to point out a problem

I make you 100% right, it’s just words on a screen, who gives a toss, look at all the crap I got on the A One thread, I laughed it off and taunted them, they got warnings from DD, I stayed within the rules and won in the end, I say won, because that’s what this is, it’s just a game we play on our computers, put it into perspective and even if they start calling my Mum names, there’s nothing to get worked up about.
As I said, I wasn’t party to all that went on, I only saw what was allowed through the net on here, although I do talk to/see a couple of the modded members because they’re my friends, I learned a little more through that, they are under no illusions as to why they got premodded, they did the ‘crime’ they accept the time.
I’m with Rob K, I would’ve come down harder and faster, pre modding would never have happened, it would’ve been read only for a month, then after further wrongdoing it would be three months, then forever, no way would I make a rod for my own back as you’ve done with all this recent crap, but then again, it’s your job, lucky for you that I’m that way inclined or you might have to look over your shoulder
As I said, my feelings are that it WAS caused by one person, others may have made it worse, but if we go back to a time before this member joined up, then all was nice and rosy in the expat garden, that’s how I see it, this is the feedback forum, that’s my feedback, hopefully it’s a long time before I need to come back to this forum in anger

I have people who have called me all sorts on here, but when I have met them face to face have been a good laugh and decent solid folks who I have enjoyed sharing a beer or two with.

You are a bit hopeless at this moderating lark though. Most of the time you don’t have a clue what to do for the best, so you just think “■■■■ it” and nuke the whole the lot like you did to the ex-pat forum and countless 100 page threads before that.
I think you secretly enjoy all the flak you get from certain quarters and love being in the thick of it dishing out your endless “warnings” and empty threats. Certainly keeps some of us amused for a long time anyway .

Brentanna, it isn’t a conspiracy theory as I said, they do the crime, they should do the time, they’ve nobody to blame but themselves, this includes your good self as you managed to be in the elite ex pats pre mod group too.
But, the reason my post is directed at you is because none of this crap happened until you came along and took offence at the slightest thing, something that you brought up in the first place, it was mentioned that there was a rumour going around at BFS about frilly frocks etc, you put us straight in great detail, then continued to bring up your gender stuff at every opportunity, you then got uppity when people started baiting you, now that was wrong, the baiting I mean, but this is a trucking forum, I personally asked you to leave all that stuff out of it and concentrate on trucking issues, but it all kicked off, yeah you were defending yourself, but you gave out the rocks that were thrown at you, what did you expect?
Then we had a chat on chat about it all, it was all very grown up and I thought we were getting somewhere, you said that you were going to put it behind you and not be so sensitive, maybe even throw in a funny response every now and then, so that we could get the forum back on track, then you (in your own words) started teaching everyone a lesson so that they did not repeat the mistakes of the past, which started it all off again.
Then we had a QC use your computer to set up as a new member, telling ‘Mr’ Trickett that he was being watched.
I’m not doing myself any favours by posting this, I’ll probably end up in your little pre mod group too, but whatever the case, I hope you take on board my comments, nothing is personal, this is about your posting on here and nothing else, I don’t care about your ■■■■■■■■■/gender/whatever, all I want is for you to take a chill pill and see things for what they are, if someone does post derogatory comments, don’t respond to them on the forums, just alert the mods, let them do what’s required, if you don’t agree with the mods, then maybe, just maybe, this forum is not for you, or vice versa.
I’ve had a day off today, the wife was at work, so I spent a good part of it on here, I made a few posts, all about lorries/trucks or driving/trucking, that’s what this site is all about, not petty arguments about something that has SFA to do with lorries/trucks or driving them

Why the hell do you think Rikki got involved in the first place, he was not taking a stroll through expats, and just happened onto them.
As for the rest I direct you back to the thread I Pm-ed you about maybe read it and you will see I did not start anything I came in and stated what I thought of BFS. What did I get, start with BTD comments and take a look at what Neal said at the very beginning now you tell me again where did it start ? The thread is still there it wasn’t removed with all the others. It did not stop and you know it, they went back to it every chance they had. So please drop it, your theory does not hold water. As for Mikes account it was set up when we were talking about me mentioning your name in a post. So that theory does not hold water either I was not on pre-mod at the time.
