That was the show started by Graham Cordiner of Peterhead he was fed up paying to display at Truckfest’s and decided to start one of his own I think he ran it for a few years do they still hold one there. Eddie.

If you look closely on the fell side going over Shap you can see a number of Big J 8 potters grazing peacefully on the upper slopes,there’s an odd S.O.M. one among them as well Anon 1.

He was paid a few times to go to Truckfest, as were a few other guys, but there were some behind the scenes politics going on with some other promotors.

Hiya largebloke1969, I’ve got some pictures of that very day starting off with grahams scania ( don’t ask me what the black line on photo is we never did find out ) also there’s a photo of a volvo F10 6 wheeler owned by a lad called steve winter who I knew from when I used to work at Borthwicks slaughterhouse at colne,lancs, there’s also a couple of other photo’s there for you.
One of his curtain side trailers resides here in North Cyprus,may be one day I will get a picture of it.

i saw a volvo the same as the one photoed in Zambia about 5 years ago. all lettered up the same.

I remember seeing that extended cab Scania back in the day and thinking how better it would look with a decent paint job, I just think the palm tree thing looks a bit naff. (If the owner is on here no offence mate just my opinion)

Seem to remember reading about that Scania that it had a shower unit fitted
