After my shift today I removed the digital tacho card and then this popped up on the screen
I did a vehicle printout but unsure what to do now ?
Any advice ?
Get the card downloaded so you can see what’s been saved/stored on it, if you can’t get the card downloaded straight away scroll through the menu to see if you can read today’s activities.
If it turns out that the card is faulty or you cannot check it straight-away do vehicle printouts at the start and end of each shift until you can tell whether it’s the card that’s faulty or the VU.
Be sure to give the card memory chip a clean with a clean soft cloth before using it again, it could just be dirty, it only takes the chip to be a bit greasy to stop it working correctly.
If the card is faulty you need to report it to the DVLA and order a new one, you can drive without a card for 15 days as long as you do vehicle printouts at the start and end of every shift.

When I got to the office everyone was gone but I did plug it in to upload it and as far as I can tell it worked .
I’ll ask the TM to check it to see if it’s stored the info .
I’ll do a print out before and after to cover myself tomorrow .
I’ll give it a clean too [emoji106]
