No height limit in UK (different in Euro mainland depending on country ,norm is 4.0m, that is why a lot of Euro trucks are ‘low ride’ ). Width 2.5m and 2.55m for fridge (I think).
Most UK trucks are 4.0m-4.2m-4.6m.
heres a few of my wagon, backend of the 80’s I believe
You caught that old Roller just in time TC He was just about to reverse off by the looks of things
Not cars, but here’s a few snaps of a Dutch 25.25m transporter.
These where taken at IJmuiden ferry terminal, this rig came in to drop these trucks for delivery to the UK.
A shot of the complete set-up.
The first trailer, a short artic trailer…
The second trailer, a fairly standard length drawbar trailer. (As far as I know, Grumpybum would know more)
How that unit is held up in the air.
You can also see that the dropped section on his first trailer has been lifted to give a level trailer for driving that 8 wheeler off.
In Holland (and the majority of the rest of Europe) the maximum running height is 4 metres.
