Curnock, where did you get the photo of the Canley Car Deliveries truck from , do you have any more, I remember that truck well as a Kid they used to run the same docks as my Dad, interesting thing about that one is to unload the top of the trailer, you had to drive them onto the truck and then down on the lift, I also have alot of Car Transporter photos that I’ve driven.
dd.i have a couple i will find them out
We havent progressed much from the 9 car carriers that Canley Car Deliveries used
Are the multi deck technological hydraulic monsters able to get many more on?
Oh yes 11 car carriers 40 years later
Wheel Nut, that’s very true, but a normal artic from that period would only carry five, but the waggon and drag was as you know a two man job back then.
Hi Big Gaz.I’m pretty sure this is a Tolemans trailer from the 80s.The truck had to be rear-lifted due to axle fault                                                                              !(http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/11257DaveLWrecker/Numeriser0013.jpg
OOPS No photos. As this is my first attempt; Can someone let me know where I’m going wrong? PLEASE!!)

Yes I know. I was just winding it up a bit, although with all the additions in elf and safety a 32500kg artic in 1975 could carry 21 ton where some 40 tonners will still struggle to do 25 ton
By the way great pictures
Davel you seemed to leave a tag off the end of your picture.
Hopefully fixed.
