My girl took her car in for a mot today , passed with 1 advisory , apparently the air freshener hanging from her rear view mirror , they’ve apparently took it off , was one of those air fresheners that looks like a tree
My mrs sticks them on , I’ve had one on for years & it’s never been mentioned , mrs the same , is this a new thing , I’ve heard them moaning about tables etc in lorries , but never a car

i have had it commented on before , as in i didnt see that when i tested it 
One of my neighbours told me he had to remove his dashcam as the MOT guy came over & said you’ll need to remove that or I’ll have to fail it due to obstruction of field of sight.
Back in the days of tax discs. I had a fail because it was within the sweep of the window wipers.

One local to us wants them removing or covered as they say the main concern is their workshop is off limits to customers and public and mechanics/staff are often carrying documents containing other customers personal details which may be caught by a dashcam. I know some of those ‘auditors’ make a similar point about GDPR with computer screens that can be seen throug a window.
