However inecusable it is for a large vehicle to tailgate / intimidate a smaller one, brake testing is by far the biggest invitation to assisted suicide on the roads today.
I’m sure we are all professional and would never rise to it (paperwork hassle and all that) but I often wonder if we deserve just little more respect.
Perhaps some public awareness that we can only go 40mph on a single carriageway (well until 2018 then we should be at 50 if we behave ourselves on the A9) or that our speedos are more accurate, or just simply a insert in the highway code that says ‘give way to large vehicles at all times where possible’.
Naive / Utopian thinking perhaps but thats me.
