Being a millennial at an event you paid to attend and spending all of your time staring at your phone whilst simultaneously ignoring the weird old guy without a phone and to cap it all not having a bleeding clue who he is?
By the look on his face he aint getting much satisfaction at that event either.

They will be so p|ssed if they ever find out who they were next to

Maybe they did recognise him?
Would he have been thrilled to be mobbed by autograph hunters at a sports event?
I reckon that goes with the territory at music gigs, but at the Olympics?
They probably don’t have a clue who he is.
Yet if it been some reality TV star or a YouTuber.
Then be a huge crowd asking for selfies
In order to recognise him they’d probably need to actually look at him! God forbid you actually make eye contact with a complete stranger in real life.
A mega rich superstar with no interest in expensive cars with a penchant for boring physical sports involving superhuman feats by drugged up non entities.
I’m not surprised they don’t recognise each other.
