If your company makes you redundant(you volunteer) ,can the depot boss block you returning to that depot on agency
from personal experience …yes!!
The company is the client of the agency so as the client the company can dictate terms such as who they want or do not want
That’s a restriction of trade surely

Do not see how
put it another way …“we are considering using another agencey/conractor” . what would you do ■■ a) tell em to stick their work ,or b) put said employee into somewhere else and say nowt??

I would think not, (unless you had a problum with them )the company uses the agency for the staff there need to do the job, would it not be best practice to have someone that know the job and is familiar with the operation.

Yes of cause they can, the company can stop any agency worker they don’t want working there, and they don’t have to give a reason.
Yes they can dictate who has access to their site.
As a past employee you have knowledge and familiarisation of people, areas and systems which could give you access to restricted areas.
The company has the right to protect their property etc .
I’m in no way a lawyer or similar, but one question, when you opted for redundancy did they make you take ‘garden leave’? If not then I don’t see how they have any reasonable reason not to allow you to work on their behalf. Just make sure you get paid by the agy for the shift/s that you turn up for.

They don’t have to be reasonable though, it’s entirely their choice who they use and I don’t think any law alters that fact; but I’m not a lawyer either
