OK I usually work Monday to Friday; driving. This is my scenario.
On 8th and 9th (Saturday and Sunday) of February I had my weekly rest.
I then started to work on Monday the 10th through until Wednesday 12th. I took Thursday off because I needed to do an ADR course on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday 14th-16th.
I then took Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th off as weekly rest days. I then work again from Wednesday 19th to Friday 21st.
Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd were again ADR days. So in effect, working days.
I took Monday the 24th off as a rest day
You say the ADR course days are working days so I assume either the ADR course is being paid for by the company or you’re bing paid for the time spent on the ADR course (or both) ?
Assuming you work days you will need to start a weekly rest period (regular or reduced) no later than 144 hours from when you started work on Tuesday 25th, if your next weekly rest period is a reduced weekly rest period you will need to start a regular 45 hour weekly rest period no later than 23:59 Sunday 08/03/2020.
So yes you can work this coming weekend as long as you start a regular weekly rest period no later than 23:59 Sunday 8th March and don’t go over 144 hours from when you started work on Tuesday 25th without a weekly rest period.
Thanks for the explanation Tachograph. I’m getting the hang of this thanks to you.
Yes the company paid for the ADR course and I was receiving pay to attend.
