i use the exact same model and had no problems with it.

My wife bot me a digital video camera lst christmas, I used it to record a few things just messing with it but it’s a waste of time, I can’t figure out how to use it to it’ full extent and going through the menu is a pain in the ■■■■ so after one year I still never downloaded anything. If it had been a ‘Flip’ i would probably used it more on a dash mount.
My wife hasn’t even noticed I don’t bother with it.
Dash cams are handy for recording accidents to prove who’s right and who’s wrong.

DCB how does this work exactly, does it record for a set time and you have to save the film just after a crash? Or does it permanently record?

Seems a lot of kit for the money.

you can select the duration of record time. you can choose between 2,5 or 15 minutes.
i have mine set for 5 minutes so it records for 5 minutes then saves it and starts recording again for another 5 minutes and so on and so on until the memory card is full.
i have a 8gb card in mine and that gives me 4 hours recording.

here is a clip while i had it on the scooter one day.

I brought one roughly the same price different model and it works fine. Its got a fish eye lense so catches everything thats visible through screen, the mount is naff and it bust after 2 days but i am heavy handed worth the price still.

Just ordered 1 myself, give it a go

My Blackview records all the time on a 10 hour loop in 15 minute timed and dated segments. The mount is excellent and picture quality not bad. Would recommend this to anyone…

bought one few wks ago had it del last wk got a 32 gig card for it easy to set up leave it on all day. got it set for movement pic quality not bad and i only paid £19.00 quid for it

my brother had one a couple of years ago which stopped and started intermittently, are they ok now and is the night vision ok

What setting have you got it on, mine will not save to card . i must be doing it wrong ,all i can view is the 15 min recording nothing anylonger.

Same here with the Blackvue had to send it back because it started switching on and off all the time but got it replaced and a happy chap now with it.

yep sorted mine now, sent for a 16 gig card so should be able to leave it on for full shift and forget about it unless something happens.Picture quality is good enough when viewing on computer, happy with that. for the price it’s not a bad bit of kit and i like the fact you can also take a still shot with it , although i will still use my digital camera when needed.

I bought one a while back, here’s the link to one of the three vids I did, not at all interesting but shows what the cam is capable of. This was done in my private transport (Sprinter 411cdi).

Used to do Southampton-Plympton-Southampton on nights, easiest job I ever had. A job for life I was told, 3 years later I was made redundant :unamused:
