Others , ta
. Usually it’s a 10 month payment by default.
But I know in normal times if you ring up you can change it to 12 payments.making it a few quid a month less.
As for in these difficult times have no idea what there planning to do to help those out struggling.
Always ever paid mine over 10 months

Thanks, , but what I was told you could defer the 1st
Two payments , April , may , so your first payment of 10
Payments would be June
just went on Manchester gov page clicked on coronavirus updates looking what’s happening to bin collection tomorrow.
all as normal apart from green garden waste
and came across this
We may be able to agree to a special payment plan so that the Council Tax due for 2020/21 is split over 9 months, from July 2020 to March 2021, meaning that in some cases you will not have to pay anything until July
may have to search your local council look up the benefits and money section. but id guess all councils are doing the same
I always pay my Council Tax over 12 months, the option to do so came in at least 8 years ago as I didn’t buy until 2012.

I pay mine over 10 months. The £30 a month extra is worth it to so that I can have £300 spare in the months if February and March.
