C+E Training Edinburgh Area

Hi all

So I`m going to take C+E training early part of next year. However, in my area, there are only 4 driving schools within reasonable travelling time.

Has anyone had any dealings with any of the following schools:

Dalkeith Transport training
Scania driver training
GTG training
CTTS Bathgate

I did C training with Nithcree, but as I will be footing the bill myself this time, I cant afford the commute to Dumfries, and personal circumstances dictate that I cant stay away from home.

Any advice whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Yeah, read them already.

Some good advice there but also looking for some first hand.

I’ve been told C.T.T.S at Bathgate are the best of the limited bunch around here. Seem to be reasonably priced too.

Do not go to dalkeith, you got 4 hours training and you need to drive to livingston 35 min and come back 35 min 30 min break you lose your 100 min training every day.I would go to perth hgv 40 min drive but perth test route is so easy,if you go to dalkeith or ctts your test will be in livingston and everywhere is busy roundabaout big risk for failing.but ctts is good company for training.

moneywise perth is much cheaper too .nearly £300 cheaper then edinburgh companies and less fail(every fail £250 300 )

What does it cost nowadays to go up from C to c+e.Have any trainers got the C+E passed JAUPT so that it could be used as part of the DCPC?
