Butterflies - difference between left and right?

I don’t know if anyone has noticed a lot of white butterflies around at the moment. Whenever I see one flying across the motorway and it makes it across without being splatted I always think “Good on you son”. But being a smelly-arsed lefty I was wondering if right-wingers do the same thing? Or are they sat there grim-faced going “It almost got across so I put my foot down and splattered it. That’ll teach Greta Thumberg and the environmentalists”

I remember Andrew Tate bragging about having ten big polluting cars on twitter and tagged Greta Thumberg in the tweet - and she just completely dismantled him by suggesting he had a small ■■■■■. He still talks about how much he hates Greta to this day so it really must have got on his nerves.

I don’t think there’s a connection between politics and the amount of compassion we show to animals.

You’d be surprised. Vegans seem to connect the two all the time.

I eat the white ones.

I nearly sideswiped a row of parked cars during a driving leason in a truck in Arnhem (1989, where has the time gone…) when, to the astonished bewildement of my instructor, I swerved to avoid a hedgehog which ran from between said row of parked cars. He was not amused by my explanation that I did not want to kill the hedgehog… he offered that the live of a hedgehog did not warrant the cost of damaging a number of cars (and, more succinctly, his truck… :unamused: ). My reasoning that my reflexes are similar, wether it was a hedgehog, or a child, fell on deaf ears.

I the decades since, I am still avoiding killing innocent animals suddenly crossing the road, humans however…

I’ve lost my sock.

Just as well it was getting crusty anyway.
