I found these photos of this Leyland coach on the Wigan Album Forum. I think the images are in
its later days because a TK Bedford appears in one of the pictures. It has a Rochdale number plate,
so I am assuming it would have been new in the early 1950s to Yelloway.s of Rochdale. Like many
other local coaches years ago, they were in regular use taking mainly ladies to work in many of the
sewing factories and cotton mills at nearby towns, Bolton, Farnworth, etc.

Well, I guess the photographer was on an official tour (anybody can go there on appliance), with official guides who considered the pictures as a good advertisement for the regime.
