first time ive been in for 3 yrs or so and i didnt know it had shut , do you still have to pay parking or as its empty is it free

still have to pay,was talking to the old guy who does the rounds collecting payment and he says he does both sides of the motorway, 
I parked there the other saturday afternoon and had to walk thru the underpass to the kfc and it was scary even then. Theres no way i would do it in the dark.

If you’re Westbound and don’t fancy the underpass to use the facilities, go past the exit for the services and head towards the roundabout and come back on yourself to enter the eastbound side.
They have designed the layout so you can get out back to the roundabout and continue westbound.
It’s all been updated with plenty of truck spaces and the building has been revamped.
