Bulldog International

Steve is working out of Southampton on containers with PMP. ( a John Ward company) He his still a bolshey bugger.
Cliff Hack is working for a local haulier in Pickets Piece as far as I know.

John Rushbridge, works for PMP doing containers out of Southampton. Bev I think it was you who was asking about Ronnie Safe from Salisbury, sadly he passed away. A nicer man you would never meet was Ronnie. He was an ex Marine and could look after him self. I liked Ronnie alot. Him and Trevor Chapman used to get on like a house on fire. I have not heard how Trevor is getting on, maybe some one can tell us.
Best Regards to Jed

Frank

Chad works up at Vitacress with a mate of mine, I have told him to tell Chad about the site. We are sure to get some stories then.

Hello Bev,
I heard that Stevie Holloway is living & working around the Wylie area, (taxi driving).

Not sure if youv’e seen this one, copied it over to here.

 hi jed, well done mate, looking at the terrain in the pic think it might have been taken just south of neves services on the A6 Paris to macon autoroute, keep them coming mate, would like to think that some of the other drivers that were on for bulldog might have some pics of the mighty 142SCANIA, be good if they have, and put them up, have spoke to john ward recently and told him about the site, said he will have a look at what we are up to on here.Regards PAPABULLDOG,bev. :unamused: :unamused:

BEV

I spoke to CHAD & told him to get on here with his storys.
he looks on here from time to time.

Hello,
Bob Martin - Didn’t he used to drive for All Seasons on the grain with an E10 ERF?

Here is my 143 Bev when I used to run down with Dale, you & Frank etc, befor i drove your 142 for a bit.

I remember being parked in Carisio one weekend in the winter, was about -12 at night & my nightheater packed up. I had abouth three layers of clothes on & was still freezing so I put my calor stove on, not sure how long later i woke up to the smell of gas - guess it wasn’t my time to go.

I was a very in-experienced driver at that point, lucky I didn’t end up coming home by air.

you were a very lucky lad jed, always remember the golden rule, no gas in the cab,a mate of mine on panalpina nearly died when his gas bottle whent up in the cab,75% burns, he now has to live with the scares.Bev :frowning:

Morning Bev,
I remember coming up to Bulldogs old yard when I was on with Graham, didn’t a bloke from Poland work for them? Had his name in the window I think.

I found this on another thread, his name is Janick?

Got a message back from Frank the other day, he sounds in good spirits so well done to him.

Here in one more I found.

hi jed, your nearly right mate, the polish driver your on about is jan pawinski, who was one of johns first drivers and was with mammoth/ loui bull for years until he had a wipe out job in italy, was imprisoned for some time, lived in salisbury and now drives for BKG.jan will never go back to italy for fear of reprisals. dont blame him. in actual fact it was the pope that got him out of jail and back home. the pic of the merc that youve posted, im not 100% sure but it looks like it might have been dale martins motor, but dont quote me. regard bev. :unamused:

hello bev just trying it out see if i do it proper

 hi there ian, yes youve got it right mate, well done and welcome to truck net, you will find a mass of information on here mate, and pobably meet up with a lot of long lost friends,if you want to put pics on here you can find all the instuctions of how to do it stage by stage, at the top of most pages, thanks to pat duffy who has been on here for a long time and is a mass of info.Good luck ian,and welcome.Regards bev.
