nice pic WG ,nothing a good T-cut wouldn’t sort i doubt !
i would gather you do more shop work than farm drops ? we got a mix of 6wheeler + drags & 6wheelers that do farm & shop deliveries , not got artics …yet although SCATS have artics & they have some awfull drops , just ask a Knights driver
they’re loving it
& me & another driver also pull a curtainsder about on scats work when we’re slack

Usually only shops drops, very occasionally do a drop to a customer where the load wont fit on a 26 tonner ( last time it was fencing stakes ). We only have the one artic and 2x 53 reg 6 wheel Scanias, 3x 07 Reg Daf CFs with drop boxes ( bit of a mistake there especially as the boxes are only 18 tinne size, someone thought it would be a good idea and we have 5 of the boxes but they should be going back to Hill Hire in May ) and 2x Daf LF 7.5 tonners on 53 plates ( one of these has just slammed into a tree and knocked the left hand side about 18 inches or so to the rear, driven by an agency driver that we have now apparently taken on as staff. In my opinion he failed the initiative test as he didn’t drive it past the tree and reverse it into the tree to knock the bulkhead back to where it started, I’m sure no-one would have noticed a thing then ).
Yeah, have heard one or two of the gripes from Knights drivers, one was a bit upset at a shop in the mddle of nowhere ( Tiverton or somewhere around there I think ).
I actually come from Cornwall, born in Liskeard and lived unti I was 17 at North Hill between Liskeard and Launceston, joined the RAF and did 22 years, ended up at Wittering near Stamford, no point going back to Cornwall ( no work and couldn’t afford a house there, bloody emmets buying all the houses for holiday homes ).
As for the truck it will take more than T-Cut, white curtains after 4 years are defo not white anymore and the gravel rash on the truck is pretty bad, just do not know why they put metal bumpers on them.
