Hi guys/girls any heads up on safe parking in or around Budapest am shipping out tomoz will be looking at arriving sunday afternoon in a van any info would be welcome thanks in advance.

Hi, this is a decent place to stop, friendly staff and decent food :slight_smile: its on the M0 just to the south of the city.
If you do park there make sure its in a proper place, or you will get a ticket from the police :blush:
There is a Shell garage also.

If you ship out tomorrow, you’ll be there Friday! There’s loads of petrol stations that you can park on.

Thanks fella this looks ideal will more than likely give this a go have bed nite heater ect in van so wont be useing hotel again thanks.

the shell garage on the M0 about 10 miles outside budapest seemed popular. Small supermarket and a maccyD`s within walking distance. Power Station Road is only a few minutes away too :wink:

The hotel has a good buffet and bsr!

Spot on have took advantage of cheap hotel 35euro with breckie and am just about to go have a buffet dinner 7euros all you can eat unbelievable and food looks very nice thanks fella great bit of info and would highly recommend to any fellow driver thank you
