Hey Tom my mate told me recently that Caffery’s still have the 143 aparently they were going to repaint it in thier colours but the paint shop said it was to good so remains the same (im not sure how far that is true) but its still as it was i think its just in thier collection & doest work…
As for the 500bhp the early ones did suffer a few electrical problems as did the 470bhps with the EDC the 450s were always thought to be more reliable and easier to fix especialy when running abroad you could always get them home. A good 450 would go aswell as a 500 and as stated were easy to adjust a get a bit more power from.
