There was a thread running about memories of BRS its depots and loads, (a lot of pig iron). I can’t find the thread now!!! (old age).
In the first week of August I’m running an old Atki from Mayfield depot in Manchester to Macclesfield road in the City using as much of the old road as I possibly can. I’m going to be taking photos all the way and hope to get an article published in one of the lorry “comics”. If anyone has anything to say about these depots, the route or anything (where they might have stopped for tea en route) or any good advice then I would very pleased from them on here.
