Do what I used to do Harry. Turn the seat round, and drive facing backwards.

Mind me what happened a couple of year ago (25 or so)
Her indoors wanted a cancer bed (you know a solarium or George Foreman for humans, kind of thing)
So of we went to the stores to look for one, and the sales man came up the my missus and said,
Your husband has a nice tan!
Oh said my missus that is only one arm, “He” always get a brown arm at work 
As you can imagine I was super pleased with that remark.

can i just add something to this post on a more serious note, i,e been driving trucks in the uk for 21 years and loved having my right arm out of the window all day and used to be very proud of my brown "truckers"arm, then 5yrs ago i noticed a mole had gone a bit funny, turned out it was a malignant melanoma {the worst form of skin cancer} the ironic thing is that the melanoma was on my left arm! certainly made me wonder what damage had been done to my right arm with all those years of sun if i get this on my left which only see,s the sunshine when i get out of the truck, not wanting to put a damper on things as we have to make the most of any sun we get in this country but if it makes 1 person think and notice something then it was worth typing

It is, I believe, well-known that in the U.S. there are more skin cancers on the left side of the body due to this very phenomenon. If part of you is exposed outside all day even in the wonderful UK climate you increase chances of getting summat, but it would still be nice to feel some warm sunshine now and then. If it’s nice out, leave it out!

i still have the brown arm syndrome, thing is my other arm is about 10 different colours lol.
