The better option would have been to exit the M4 At Chippenham then use the A350, or from the Bristol direction you can transit Bath via Lower Bristol Road on the A36 but not the Cleveland Bridge as that also has an 18 ton MGW limit, to continue on the A36 towards Beckington.
