been here . this also reminds me of houso cant spell it in north east . cant re member where exact but bin there several times pick up ship plates all different shapes and sizes . plenty of timbers and dog and chains .had wet canteen ? four Newcastle browns and chips . magic . Late 60’s I would have been on bulk tippers, having returned from a couple of years living near Tenby. Unfortunately I “lost” the new Big J I had previously had new and was awarded an ex-contract Big J which had been on the Wall’s Ice Cream fleet, painted light blue- remember those? I pulled a heavy steel bulk trailer and the only time I had anything to do with Bridgend was to fly past it on the way to more exotic destinations like Briton Ferry or Margam!

You missed out passing Bridgend depot ROF, it had one of the best canteens going, I delivered Castrol oil products in there for BRS Oldbury depot.

hi trev did my advanced driving corse bridgend . could not wait for dinner time . good grub yea .

got to keep old red and rust going not many of us left ? went to steam show with my fam seen old Bristol in vintage trucks told son usto drive one of then up the road !!! . he laught ? .

hi ti had soom good m8s in ponty ran with a lot . sorry cant remember names but good guys never had dull night out . great photos of ponty dept allways remember it . I was in Newport (GB) depot .
