I work for them now i got xyu 431, 440 version slightly newer to the RIM regs,… my dads man was rim 082,then his last one before retiring was the merc posted on my post. and had a draw bar to slightyly newer one to the one you picture, sqaure head lights instead of twin circles. No draw bar shunters now :slight_smile: just the old man artic which looks a mess and a battered RIM man to.

do any of you get to clayton carpet’s in lincoln? often see 2-3 a week dilivering their, do love the way the moffit’s run ring’s around the company’s own forklift… :smiley:

I dont know where ever one lives excatly, but we pretty go anyway depending of where you like. Im from the south west so do like weston super mare accross and so far into london and kent. You can fly with the little boom trucks we got. Got brand new ones coming after xmas to.

the marathon leaving dover was owned by ian hooper from congleton area. he subbed for brit belgium, along with me and a few others in the mid eighty,s.i think it had a 290 ■■■■■■■ in it it absolutely flew on the flat. the last i heard of him , he had a taxi in congleton. regards terry.

i see some driver’s are getting the new merc’s, there were 3 merc gigaspace (i think there gigaspace…) all sign written up on uk “13” plate’s awaiting collection at killinghome dock’s…

Hi all, have they gone over to uk reg Mercs on the carpet jobs, have seen about 3x uk reg New Merc SSC 4x2 units nornaly these are Belguim reg trucks on this work, cheers Alan.
