Brick weight

Hi all
forgive me if this is a silly question but I need to know the weight of a pack of bricks just normal bog standard bricks. I need to collect 6 packs for my brother and need to know what size vehicle I would need.

Hi I think the standard pack of bricks is 1.5 ton, so you`ll need a wagon
with 9/10 ton payload.

There’s no such animal, packs of bricks generally average about 900kg but can be a couple of hundred kilos above or below this. If you load at a brick company they won’t overload you.

A typical load takes up three-quarters of the trailer deck so get the first packs loaded just forward of the trailer legs. The forkie will help you.

better idea (and cheaper) go to your local ■■■■■ jaunt and find the man with the “rent a man and van” in black letters on the side of his white “R” reg transit and he’ll collect aqnd deliver the bricks for you for a couple cans of beer

Hiya …a silly answer to your question is get a sample brick soak it in water (the load mey be wet ) and weigh the brick the multiply
by x amount …easy. its no use asking brick weights as standard. I ve carried millions. london bricks are 20 ton=10,000=9 packs
buxton concrete bricks 20 ton =6000 bricks Buckley bricks Jackobean are as heavy as buxton concrete ones and some
engineering bricks are nealy twice as heavy as concrete ones. and ask for pack weights the buxton brick pack was 3.7 ton
per pack at one time. 6 packs = 21 tons
