Article in Commercial motor says new truck prices will rise because of brexit ,why nothing has been done yet apart from the pound being week. Not so long ago the pound was worth more than the euro basket case but no mention was made about trucks being cheaper.
A weaker pound will make imported trucks more expensive but the flip side to that is that it also makes British-made goods cheaper in Euroland and so is good for exports.

Surely that’s your answer.
As for no mention of cheaper trucks with a strong £, well the old saying " rise like a rocket, fall like a feather" comes to mind
Truck manufacturers would have hedged their euros probably up to December or possibily March, so pricing will remain consistent into the early part of the year.
If you want an epic price on a new truck, find a dealer who needs to get to their year end target and wants it registered by 31 December.
April been the start of the financial year wI’ll possibly the time it will change
Not for all April is a starting point many end of years vary
well after getting caught price fixing they should be cheaper anyway that plus your rebate through the rha scheme for the one you bought that was over priced, now should be the time to buy.
Sorry but the way I see it going, they will use Brexit or/and weak pound to raise prices just for the sake to earn more, like the fuel price, as said rise fast but fall very slowly.
The weak pound has already pushed Volvo prices up. Michelin tyres are all going up 9% in December. Wish I could get my rates up 9%…
