i have never used one but was asked how do they brake test these trailers, do you need to split them and brake test each trailer ?
I’m guessing you’re talking about something like this
dennisontrailers.com/our-traile … l-trailer/
Is it your trailer(s) and do you have the VTG6 & VTG7?
If you have two trailer IDs, then I’d expect you’d have two separate DTp numbers so would need separate RBTs as they’re separate entities.
If there’s only one ID and one set of paperwork there’s be one DTp, so I’d expect it would need to be tested as one entity with one RBT.
For Dennisons: Yes they split them and test as 2 trailers. Can be a pain getting brake readings up on front trailer.
