Had the misfortune to park in Braintree Lorry Park, avoid this place like the plaque unless you are stone deaf. The local dopey speed merchants practice their wheeelies and use the truck park as a skid pan, even at the hight of a thunder storm, as you will see in the morning. Concrete surface used to be grey its now stick black with all the burnt rubber.
Sorry lads, but it should read BASILDON (not Braintree, sorry Braintree), avoid the lorry park, as I have said the local young drivers use the lorry park (which is free) as a skid pan, how the Continental drivers can get shut eye beats me, the 1st time I used the L P this year, a nice police lady turned up and told these dopey kids to go away, but I expect they came back the following night. Some people dont have any respect for you truckers.
Funny that. I parked in Basildon, there was only me there. lovely and peaceful, I mentioned it to the forkie the next morning while I was tipping, he just sniffed, “Yeah mate they naffed off to Braintree”, “it is much better there”
