Did anyone one here used to work for Brains ?

Suggest you ask same question in old timers forum. I remember working out of similar places as them around South East & beleive were paid quite well.Ran a lot of 110 &111 scanias late 70`s but thats about all i can help you with. :exclamation:

hanbury davies / riverside owned by glynn davies ex russell davies. brain haulage was owned by charles & john brain

your probably right…just trying to remember what i`d read on previous posts…

Brains were so badly run and so unprofitable that they were, eventually, run by the bank

Youre thinking of a guy called Larry Kilby who used to be the MD (I think?) of Brains, now a director of Maritime.
