Has anyone got a photos of Bostock Atkinson’s, think they were from the Northwich area Lostock Garlem I think. He was an Owner Driver who used to do up old motors then put them back into service, his Atkinson’s used to cut a sight on the M6 in the late 90s, think he found it hard to find parts in the end, seem to remember his last motor was a B series ERF.
Great photos, all working motors aswell not a fan of preserving trucks for shows a truck is built to work and earn it’s keep.
Bostock’s were from Congleton not Northwich or Lostock, their fleet of Atkinsons were to be admired.

I remember a Mick Bostock with an Atki Borderer from Congleton , he was a subbie for Brit European back in the late 1970’s. Same person anyone?

There was also a Bostock’s coach firm from Congleton, same firm/family?
What’s the story with the Atki reg number DCK ----? It was used on the cover of Peter Davies book British lorries up to 1992 ,I thought it was a late registration perhaps S reg ?
I guess those 4 wheelers will be a bit on the heavyside and probably not good for much more than a 9 ton payload ? Cheers Bewick.
I wouldn’t think they be that heavy , an Olympic Erf Ec11 6 by 2 with 9 metre body weighs 10 tonnes .
