Bob May who drove for Hoggsped and had his own trucks at one time passed away 22nd / 23rd April 2015
Bob was a larger than life character who was renowned for being a good camion chef.
Funeral details are not known at this time but I shall put them on here when I get them.
Strangely enough the sad news from Yorkshire came from Czech through Pete Stackhouse Sro

Is Bob from Beverly? If so I met him in Kosovo with Alan Douglas & Dave Poulton. Me & Bob rebuilt Daves tilt, was a cracking bloke I thought. Next morning were up for the 4am convoy back down to the Macedonia border, Bob had made the 4 of us a brew. Top top bloke. Rip Bob.

He was from South Cave quite close to Beverley and than moved to Newport
Just seen the photos on Facebook. When I was with Bob he was saying he was getting a new truck soon, Bob was in that L reg FH then.
