If someone wants to pimp there ride so what,it does not affect me whatsoever,£5k £500 £50 or £5 not bothered it has nothing to do with me,let them get on with it and stop slaging em off
Radar19:
I don’t think I could drive one of those “bling’d” up motors. It feels like stomping around in someone elses home while they aren’t there.
I’ve no problem driving pimped motors (rainbow flags would be thrown out though ) as long as I’m not expected to fuss over it ie take my boots off, eat outside, polish it daily and all the other nonsense. Some temporary driver fitted (and left) those hideous metal mirror covers on mine which I’ve been meaning to take off and scrap. It’s got some strange locking nut things on instead of bolts, God knows why, nobody would nick the ugly useless things.

No, but they might want to take them off and scrap them

If you mean the ones I think you mean I would leave them on. If some knob comes tearing down a narrow road and hits your mirror, there is only one guy left with a mirror and it won’t be him. These things are normally fitted for that purpose by both defensive drivers, and …tipper terrorists

They’re awful things, mate. Bloody great blindspots (to add to the usual cf ones) and look utterly stupid. It’s the only motor I’ve driven that’s had them, never had a problem in the past.
If I was customer and one of those bling motors turned up to collect a load I would wonder who was paying for the bling.

Don’t know about the customer, but if I was the bling motor’s driver’s boss (and I have been) I would wonder how he could afford all that crap on the money I was paying him, think I must be paying him too much, and laugh my ■■■■ off as he obviously doesn’t need a pay raise next year and because my co. profile is being lifted at no extra expense to me, …double whammy and then I book my next hols on what I have saved…

To people who drive like a ■■■■■■, yes. I find a lot of people who have them also have chrome number plate surrounds, no doubt they’re a god send too.
Looking very nice there Si, where do you find the time though, i got out of mine on xmas eve and havent been anywhere near it yet
I think a little bling can look ok as long as its not over the top but im knr on the curtains being half way across the window it should be illegal we have a guy who does it 1st thing i do if using his motor is push then back and to the haters of it if a driver wants to spend his cash on bling its his choice no ones asking you to pay are they live and let live
Id rather spend my money on things for my home as i own that.not bling up someone elses truck
