Hiya,
Bloody Hell Fred, I didn’t realize I was so much older than you, (79 next week),
I remember John Hindle didn’t he have a sister a television actress,? there’s a
lot of the old drivers gone now Fred, The Ghost, Terry Tuckwell, Nobby Clark,
I did see Terry’s son also Terry had passed away I don’t think he ever became
a driver but I remember him coming to the yard to meet his dad, after work,
and of course our old pal Stan Hindle a true gent, I remember Stan and me we
had spent the weekend boozing in the pubs of Accrington and we was going to
London on the Sunday I had my car so I brought us both to the yard we were
still drunk and of course had to meet Harold Newlove both skint and in need
of funds from the tin box if we’d have breathed on Harold we’d have both got
the sack, happy day’s though Fred.
