If you saw Patrick Swayse in "Black Dog"where he imagined a shape forming in the road due to fatigue,i saw the dog, late at night, tired, braked the car for no reason,Mrs was asleep.Swear i saw a black silhoute coming from the right of the road, and heading to front of the car.I had not been drinking or taking anything.Strained eye muscles perhaps.

Ive been overtaken by 3 hells angels riding there motorbikes backwards followed by a bouncy castle needless to say I pulled into the next layby for a couple of hours kip
Years ago when I was in the army,I used to drive up home from down south every Friday night as I was courting my present wife at the time. After having a heavy weekend,I always left it until last thing Sunday night before driving back, ususally the early hours of Monday.
On more than one occasion when getting near my destination,I would keep applying my brakes as I kept seeing nuns riding bikes across the road in front of me.
in my younger younger days when i was a very silly lad i have had a few things in front of me! even a double decker bus side ways coming towards me if that make sence on the m61 at 2 am on morning thats when i had to stop and sleep, the anadins and flat coke wasnt working to well then
I’ve seen a huge, golden hand blocking three lanes of the motorway, also on another occasion an artic on its side, with oranges all over the carriageway and police there with their flashy lights and everything, diverting the traffic around it. There wasn’t any artic, neither was their any other traffic. Probably just as well.
It’s just mother nature’s gentle way of telling us that shift work isn’t healthy.
And working on a large dairy farm in wiltshire, early starts of 3am,long walks to get all the herd to bring them to the parlour, all that fresh air,and fatigue,i imagined Luftwafte pilots hanging from silk parachutes in the distant woods. To say the least,i was nervous. The brain has strange ways of playing tricks on sensory perception,or is what we want to see, even though it is not there.
