So this seems a bit Cretinous to me. He gets lorries in & presumably some drivers before the licence is granted, this is denied due to not placing the newspaper advert that you intend to operate from a specific location which is basic & possibly the simplest part of the process. Then he changes his mind and decides not to bother.
Here we thought Eddie was shaking in his boots.
Just goes to show that even though you had “it” once, you don’t neccesarily always have “it”.
I’m sure he’s still a multi millionaire like but just sayin’.
