Anyone know if Bird’s Groupage are going to Europe these days? Used to go quite a bit - anyone seen them?
i drive past Birds yard in Birmingham, there are hundreds of units and trailers parked up doing nothing,i asked a driver,he said it depends on the shift patterns when they send them out.
I don’t get it!
Never mind
Yes, Birds still do at least some European work. I see their trucks every now and then.
How much they do I don’t know.
Perhaps Google maps to see how many trucks are parked up,it looks like they are not going out on the road.

Their photographs are that up to date
I hope your previous drive past was by vehicle and not by by Google

I’ve got to stick up for Tobes here I’m afraid but passed on the M5 a couple of weeks ago on a weekday lunchtime and there were a fair few units parked up not hundreds like Tobes said though but still quite a few maybe 15-20.

I haven’t driven past there personally for a long time, but there was always a few of theirs parked up every time I did.
Then toby posts that there are hundreds. Now WE all know toby is prone to some slight exaggeration, but does Miss Stitches? When he suggested looking on Google as proof of his claim, I thought it was worth asking.
Knowing what day and roughly the time it was, when he saw all these wagons parked up would be helpful too. I hope you see what I’m getting at.
There always is/has been a lot in there in the day. A lot of them are on the road at night

There ya go then
Went past their yard last monday 5am and wednesday at 3pm. The yard was full both times.
I have been past their yard at least 3 times a week in Oldbury while delivering elsewhere in the last 4 weeks. They are a very busy yard in the daytime and their website says they do Ireland and Germany.
As Andrewv8 has said the yard is full all the time,it has been full when i go past the yard too, maybe some TN member could get their passenger to take a photo to place on here.
